Here's a subarc wire that's flux-cored and a great choice for welding Cr-Mo steels. Lincolnweld LAC-B2 is designed to weld with either single or tandem arcs using a neutral flux.
Its construction is simple, the wire is wrapped around a paperboard tube. The reusable K1504-1 adapter allows a coil to fit on the industry standard 50mm hub.
