Lincolnweld L-S3 is a low carbon, high manganese, high silicon wire designed for use with Lincolnweld 880M, 8500 or MIL800 flux. It produces good low temperature impacts at the higher deposition rate procedures typically used on offshore drilling platform legs.
Its construction is simple, the wire is wrapped around a paperboard tube. The reusable K1504-1 adaptor allows a coil to fit on the industry standard 50mm hub.
