700 Series Active Flux
Lincolnweld 761 weld deposits are usually low carbon, fairly high manganese, have superior crack-resistance and, when used with L-61 electrode, produce excellent impact resistance on single pass welds.
The slower freezing of 761 slag gives good appearance on large flat fillet welds using either constant or variable voltage power sources.
Advantage Lincoln • Slow freezing slag for good weld appearance.
• Over 50 years experience in flux designing and manufacturing.
• Agglomerated for consistent flux particle composition and consistent weld deposit chemistry.
• Typically, agglomerated fluxes such as 761 will have up to 30% lower flux consumption than their fused flux counterparts.
• Manufactured under quality systems certified to ISO 9001 standards.
Typical Application • Single pass flat butt, fillet and lap welds.
• Longitudinal or spiral seams on pipe where there are little or no Charpy V-notch impact requirements.
• Rusty or scaly sheet steel.
• Sheet metal with organic (oil) contaminants.
