Lincoln 316L
Available diameter (mm): 2.4, 3.2 Package size (kg): 25
This wire is designed for submerged arc welding with basic with basic fluxes that recover nearly all of the wire chromium in the deposit. Good resistance to hot cracking.
Advantage Lincoln • For welding of 316 or 316L stainless steels.
• Designed primarily for submerged arc welding with basic fluxes that recover nearly all of the wire's chromium in the weld deposit.
• Undiluted weld metal is designed to contain considerable ferrite for high crack resistance.
• Along with Blue Max 2000 flux, several Lincolnweld fluxes can be used; 801, 802, 880, 880M, 882 and ST-100.
• Lincolnweld ST-100 flux, which will add minor amounts of chromium, can also be used.
• DC+ is the preferred polarity. In some cladding operations DC- may be preferred.
• Manufactured under a quality system certified to ISO 9001 requirements.
Typical Application • ASTM A240 Type 316 or 316L • ASTM A743, A744 Types CF-8, CF-3 • Should not be used in urea manufacture, as this environment will attack the ferrite.
Recommended Flux Blue Max 2000;ST-100;Lincolnweld 801;Lincolnweld 802;Lincolnweld 880;Lincolnweld 880M;Lincolnweld 882
Conformance • AWS A5.9: ER316, ER316L • ASME SFA-5.9: ER316, ER316L • ABS: ER316, ER316L |
