The Tecna 3655 is a 12000 amp inverter power source designed for both single and double-sided spot welding of the latest high technology steels developed for the
automotive industry.
Tecna’s 1000 Hz inverter technology eliminates the risk of weld
defects caused by power supply fluctuations whilst delivering the highest welding current
combined with low primary draw current.
Welds of exceptional strength, featuring minimal heat affected area are the result of the combination of both water cooling the power supply, power cables, arms and electrodes and the use a patented pneumatic smart gun.
The cooling of these transfer points assures that maximum power is available between the electrodes at the weld point.
The pneumatic smart gun features adjustable stroke and a double function trigger allowing clamping of material initially and then welding only when the force at the electrodes is correct.
Simultaneous connection of both single and double sided spot welding guns combined with easy adjustment of power and other welding parameters including the automatic recall of memorised welding programs maximises work productivity and flexibility. | |
